SpecSeal SIL400 Silicone Sealant is a high-performance silicone firestop sealant tested to resist the passage of smoke, flame, and water through construction joints and through-penetrations. SIL400 Sealant cures to form a flexible seal and carries a Class 1 W Rating for water resistance (per ANSI/UL1479). The sealant is a one-part, neutral-curing silicone that will adhere to most building substrates without the use of primers. The sealant is low modulus minimizing strain on the substrate surface while the elastomeric quality allows excellent recovery from extension and compression cycling.

Each Ready Sleeve kit includes a preformed steel sleeve with rolled edges, steel escutcheon plates with intumescent gaskets, and a dosage of our SpecSeal SSP Firestop Putty. The rolled edges of each Ready Sleeve eliminate the need for bushings while the included escutcheon plates and gaskets take the place of steel strut and strap supports.
